Our Honest Review: Paisa Vasool or Time Waste?

Not gonna lie, I expected this to be another melodramatic tear-jerker, but it actually surprised me. Nawell Madani is absolutely brilliant as Jada. You can literally feel her anxiety, pain, and fierce determination in every single frame. Her performance keeps you hooked even when the plot gets a bit predictable.

The first half is super tight. The directors build up the tension really well, making you feel the urgency of the situation. The supporting cast, especially Guillaume Gouix, does a solid job of keeping the story grounded.

However, the second half kinda drags in some portions. Some of the extreme steps Jada takes feel a bit too far-fetched, making you wonder if anyone would actually do that in real life. But then again, it is a movie, so a little creative liberty is totally fine.

Overall, it is a very decent time-pass watch. If you love emotional thrillers with a strong maternal angle, this one won’t disappoint. It is a solid one-time watch for your lazy Sunday afternoon binge.
