Our Verdict: Worth a Watch?
Tbh, the movie isn’t trying to be some path-breaking, high-budget cinema. It is a very simple, old-school romance that relies heavily on nostalgia and small-town charm. The first half of the film is super breezy and sweet. The local dialect, the tea-stall chats, and the innocence of first love really work in its favor.
Gayatri Bhardwaj looks lovely on screen and does a solid job as Sapna. The chemistry between the leads is quite cute and feels natural. However, not gonna lie, the second half kinda drags. The whole plot about chasing the phone gets a bit stretched out, and the pacing drops. You might find yourself checking your phone once or twice during the middle portion.
But the music is a major savior! The songs are surprisingly good and fit the wholesome mood of the film perfectly. It’s a clean, family-friendly watch that makes for a great lazy Sunday afternoon time-pass.
