What is the Storyline?

This rival group will stop at nothing to protect their territory, and soon, Rip and Beth find themselves locked in a brutal turf war. It is basically a classic Western struggle but with that signature modern intensity we love.

Our Honest Review: Worth the Hype?

Look, if you are expecting a lighthearted romance, please look elsewhere. This is a gritty, dusty, and intense ride. Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly have this crazy, effortless chemistry that carries the entire show. Beth is still throwing verbal punches left and right, while Rip does what he does best—looking menacing and getting things done.

The shift to South Texas is a nice change of scenery. The cinematography is gorgeous, making you almost feel the dry Texas heat through the screen. However, the pacing can feel a bit slow in the middle episodes. It is a classic slow-burn drama, so you need some patience. But the payoff in the finale? Absolutely paisa vasool.

Is it as grand as the main Yellowstone series? Maybe not yet, but as a spin-off, it does a fantastic job of keeping you hooked. If you love intense family dramas and Western vibes, this is a solid weekend watch.
