Alpha (2026): Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Are Ready to Kick Some Serious Butt

YRF is finally giving us the female-led spy movie we’ve been begging for, and honestly, the hype is through the roof. Alpha is the latest addition to Aditya Chopra’s massive Spy Universe, and this time, the ladies are taking charge. No offense to the Khans and Hrithik, but seeing Alia Bhatt and Sharvari team up for some high-octane espionage action is exactly the fresh energy this franchise needed.

Our Take: Is It Worth the Hype?

Tbh, Alpha has all the ingredients of a blockbuster. YRF is leaving no stone unturned to make this look slick, stylish, and on par with international action thrillers. Alia Bhatt is a powerhouse performer, and seeing her transition into a hardcore action hero is going to be super interesting. Plus, Sharvari has already proven she can handle physical roles with ease.

With Bobby Deol playing the bad guy, the conflict is bound to be intense. If the script holds up and the action doesn’t feel too CGI-heavy, this could easily be a massive paisa vasool entertainer. It is definitely one of the most anticipated movies of 2026, and we can’t wait to see how it connects to the larger spy universe timeline.
