Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Movie Review: Ayushmann’s Fun Rom-Com
So I finally got around to watching Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, and honestly? It is exactly the kind of lighthearted entertainer you need after a long week. If you enjoyed the previous film, this sequel swaps the cast but keeps that same chaotic, comedy-of-errors energy. This time, we have Ayushmann Khurrana leading the madness alongside Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh. It is a pretty fresh trio, tbh, and they bring a completely different vibe to the screen.

What is the Story About?
The plot takes us straight to the colorful streets of Prayagraj. We meet a seemingly perfect couple who seem to have their married life totally sorted. But obviously, there is no movie if things stay perfect, right? One random decision triggers a massive chain reaction of lies, heavy suspicion, and absolute madness. Before you know it, a third person enters the equation, and our hero is left running around like a headless chicken trying to keep his marriage from imploding. It is classic marital distress turned into pure comedy.

Our Review: Is It Worth Your Time?
Look, if you are expecting deep, life-altering cinema, you should probably look elsewhere. But if you just want a fun, time-pass watch to enjoy with a cup of hot chai, this one fits the bill perfectly.
Ayushmann Khurrana is right back in his comfort zone here—playing the stressed-out, everyday Indian guy who has gotten himself into a giant mess. He is super relatable, and his comic timing is on point as always. Rakul Preet Singh and Wamiqa Gabbi hold their own really well too. Wamiqa especially brings a very fresh, bindaas energy to her role that keeps things lively.
The first half is a breeze. The jokes land well, the songs are catchy enough, and you are genuinely entertained. The second half kinda drags a bit when the misunderstandings pile up too high and the plot gets a tad predictable. Still, the climax saves it with some full-on loud comedy. It is a decent masala entertainer that delivers exactly what it promises.
