Drishyam 3 is back, bringing our favorite cinema-loving family man who will go to absolutely any length to shield his family from the law. If you loved the first two parts, you already know the drill—lots of tension, police officers looking highly frustrated, and Mohanlal doing absolute magic just with his eyes.

The Storyline: A New Threat Knocks on the Door

So, what is happening this time around? The story picks up with Georgekutty and his family still living under the constant shadow of their past deeds. Just when things seem to have calmed down a bit, a new, highly organized threat comes knocking on their door. The Review: Slow Burn with a Mind-Blowing Climax

Let’s talk about the actual movie. Tbh, the first half is a bit of a slow burn. It takes its sweet time setting up the chess board, which might make you feel like the pace is dragging a bit. But trust me, do not lose patience. The build-up is totally worth it.

The last 30 minutes? Absolute madness. My jaw was literally on the floor. If you thought the climax of the previous two films was crazy, Drishyam 3 says, “Hold my popcorn.” The way all the scattered clues, the intense police interrogation, and Georgekutty’s legendary planning come together in the final act is pure genius. The twists hit you rapid-fire, and you honestly won’t see the resolution coming.

Mohanlal is, as usual, spectacular. He plays Georgekutty with that same calm, slightly scared, yet incredibly sharp vibe that we all love. Meena and Asha Sharath also play their parts perfectly, adding the right amount of emotional weight to the thriller.

Is it as ground-breaking as the very first Drishyam? Maybe not, because now we kind of expect the twists. But is it a solid, paisa vasool thriller? 100%. If you want a gripping suspense drama for your weekend, this one is a must-watch.
